YOUR DATA

Privacy policy

How we process website visitors’ data and appointment requests.

Updated on 15 October 2026.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is UAB „Danties pasaulis“. The clinic’s address is Liongino Baliukevičiaus Dzūko g. 2, LT-06325 Vilnius, Lithuania.

Appointment requests

The form collects your name, phone number, email address, selected service, preferred callback time and acknowledgement of this policy. We use these details to contact you and arrange a visit. A request does not itself confirm an appointment. Providing your data is voluntary, but we cannot respond to the request without your name, phone number and email address. You can also book by phone.

Do not provide diagnoses, test results, personal identification numbers or other additional health information. The selected service may reveal a healthcare need, so we also treat appointment information as confidential. This policy does not cover medical records created at the clinic.

We process requests at your initiative in preparation for providing a service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Health data are covered by Article 9(2)(h) and professional secrecy requirements. Acknowledging the form is not consent to advertising.

Where does a request go?

Form data are transmitted over HTTPS and sent to the clinic’s Gmail mailbox. The appointment plugin does not store form contents in the WordPress database. Emails and replies remain in the mailbox; clearing the form in your browser does not delete them. Within the clinic, access is limited to authorised people responsible for appointments.

The website is hosted by UAB „Interneto vizija“. Hosting and email providers participate in delivering requests. Gmail is a Google service covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Consumer Gmail has different terms from Google Workspace.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. It describes its transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, in its data transfer frameworks. This is not a promise that emails are stored only in Lithuania.

Technical data and website security

The hosting server may record your IP address, request time, visited address and technical browser information. These logs help operate the website and identify faults or abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its visitors (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

To protect the form, a code calculated from the IP address and an attempt count are stored temporarily. This rate-limit record is valid for 15 minutes. It does not contain your name, phone number or selected service.

How long do we keep data?

We keep appointment emails until we answer the request, arrange a visit or establish that no visit will be arranged. After the request is resolved, emails no longer needed for booking are removed. Information needed for a specific legal obligation or dispute is kept only as long as necessary for that purpose. Patient medical records have separate statutory retention periods.

Technical log retention depends on the provider’s log rotation and the time needed to resolve a fault or security incident. The email service’s backup copies and deletion process follow Google’s published retention practices.

Cookies and external links

The website has no advertising trackers or visitor analytics tools. Fonts and website images load from our own website. We do not use tracking cookies for ordinary browsing of public pages. WordPress may use login, session and editor-preference cookies for administrators.

Google Maps is not embedded in the page: a map opens only when you click the address link. You then visit an external service governed by its own privacy policy. You can manage cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can access or correct your data, request erasure or restricted processing, obtain portable data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may ask for proportionate identity verification to fulfil a request. We do not make automated decisions about patients or carry out profiling.

Contact the clinic using the details above. You can also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Policy updates

When the website or its data processing changes, we will update this notice and its date. We do not use appointment-request data for newsletters or direct marketing.
